Standards & boundaries

Evidence, consent and human judgement govern the process.

Aperture Talent applies the broader Aperture principles to talent work: reality before reliance, verification before interpretation, evidence before narrative.

ControlWhat it means in talent work
CV / profile = lead, not proofCandidate-supplied and public professional information starts the enquiry. Material claims may require independent support or direct confirmation.
Job post = lead, not proofThe published description may not capture the real work, priorities, team context or flexibility. The underlying need must be understood.
Human approvalNo model or automated ranking system makes the final outreach, submission or employment decision on Aperture's behalf.
Purpose-linked researchResearch should be relevant to the professional question and proportionate to the decision, not curiosity-driven surveillance.
Candidate permission gateCandidate-specific identity or CV sharing for a live opportunity follows the applicable permission and lawful-use controls.
Employer verificationWe do not treat the candidate as the only side that needs checking. The opportunity and employer context also matter.
Uncertainty stays visibleA plausible claim is not rewritten as a fact. Gaps, contradictions and unverified areas remain labelled.
No discriminatory shortcutProtected or irrelevant personal characteristics are not a substitute for lawful, job-relevant assessment.
Jurisdiction controlRecruitment, placement, background checks, data use and fee models can be regulated differently by country and state. Activities are adapted, limited or referred where required.

Professional boundaries

What Aperture Talent is not.

  • A guarantee of employment or hiring success.
  • A substitute for an employer's legal employment obligations.
  • An immigration, legal, financial or regulated professional adviser.
  • A licensed background-screening provider in every jurisdiction.
  • A covert surveillance or unauthorised access service.
  • An automated decision-maker that determines who should be hired.

Where another specialist is required

Formal criminal-record checks, credit checks, immigration advice, medical or psychological assessment, regulated credential verification, security clearances or jurisdiction-specific screening may require candidate consent, statutory notices, a qualified provider or specific licences.

Aperture should identify that boundary rather than simulate authority it does not have.

Technology

AI can assist the work. It does not become the evidence.

This mirrors the main Aperture position: technology can help discover, compare, extract and organise information, while material findings remain subject to sourcing, verification, uncertainty handling and human review.

Useful

Search expansion, pattern discovery, document comparison, data organisation and drafting support.

Not enough

A model's output, score or summary is not proof that a person can do the work or that an employer claim is true.

Human control

People remain accountable for material interpretation, outreach, candidate handling and final release.
