Aperture Research Works ↗

For employers

Find people for the work that actually needs doing.

Aperture Talent researches the role, the market and the people. We look beyond applicants and keywords to identify credible matches, explain the evidence behind the fit and surface what still needs to be tested.

When to use us

Useful when the obvious recruiting route is not enough.

We are designed for roles where quality of fit, scarce combinations of capability or weak market visibility make ordinary applicant filtering unreliable.

Hard-to-fill roles

The role has been open too long, attracts the wrong applicants or requires a combination of skills that is hard to search conventionally.

Passive talent

The strongest people may not be applying. We can research and approach relevant professionals based on credible public professional signals.

Unclear talent market

You need to understand who exists, where they sit, how adjacent talent might translate and what requirements are unnecessarily narrowing the pool.

Expansion or new capability

You are entering a market, building a function or adding a specialist capability and need evidence before finalising the hire profile.

High-consequence hire

The cost of a poor fit is material enough to justify more disciplined research, verification and documented reasoning.

Recruiter support

Existing internal or external recruiting can remain in place while Aperture provides a deeper intelligence and evidence layer for selected searches.

What you receive

Decision-useful talent intelligence.

  • A clearer role and success hypothesis.
  • Relevant market and talent mapping.
  • Named active and passive prospects where lawful and appropriate.
  • Evidence-backed fit rationale for selected people.
  • Visible gaps, risks and unresolved questions.
  • Structured outreach and engagement control.
  • Permission-controlled introduction where a candidate is willing.
  • Placement and follow-through support where agreed.

The standard

We do not call someone a fit because their title matches.

Titles vary. CVs compress. Public profiles omit context. We test the work history, skill signals, chronology, evidence quality, role requirements and practical constraints that are material to the decision.

Some matters require direct confirmation, references, formal background screening, credential verification or regulated checks. Those steps are performed only when lawfully authorised and may require an appropriate specialist provider.

Search depth

We can start before the vacancy is fully defined.

Controlled process

We separate discovery, verification and decision.

Aperture can inform the hiring decision. The employer retains the employment decision, legal responsibilities and any regulated assessment that belongs to the employer or authorised specialist.

Active, passive, adjacent and overlooked pools.

Verify

Test material claims

Evidence, chronology, consistency and practical constraints.

Commercial fit

Scoped around the search, not a one-size package.

Commercial terms depend on role difficulty, geography, search depth, verification level, urgency, exclusivity and jurisdiction. No paid engagement begins until scope and fees are agreed in writing.

Possible engagement structures

  • Defined talent research project
  • Targeted sourcing and outreach assignment
  • Employer-side talent intelligence
  • Placement-linked engagement where lawful and agreed
  • Recurring talent-mapping or market-monitoring support
