Aperture Research Works ↗

How it works

From a market signal to a controlled introduction.

Aperture Talent is built as an intelligence process first and a placement process second. We separate what is known, what is claimed, what is inferred and what still needs direct confirmation.

1. A need or signal appears

An employer may brief us directly. We may also detect a credible hiring need through an open role, growth, expansion, capability gap or other professional market signal.

2. We define the real requirement

We identify the work, success conditions, must-haves, flexible criteria, location and commercial constraints. A job description is treated as evidence, not automatically as the whole truth.

3. We map the relevant talent market

Search can include active applicants, passive professionals, adjacent industries, comparable functions, specialist communities and unusual career combinations.

4. We create match hypotheses

Potential people are linked to the requirement for a reason. The hypothesis states why the match may work and what would need to be true for it to hold.

5. We research the person further

Public professional evidence, chronology, role scope, achievements and material claims are checked to the extent lawful, proportionate and available.

6. We qualify the employer context

We also test whether the opportunity appears genuine, coherent and worth presenting. Talent due diligence is not one-directional.

7. We make specific outreach

The message should explain why the particular person was selected, what we found, why it matters and what remains uncertain.

8. Permission controls candidate sharing

Before candidate-specific identity or CV sharing for a live opportunity, the applicable permission, privacy and lawful-use controls must be satisfied.

9. Introduction and interview

Where both sides want to proceed, Aperture can support the introduction and maintain the factual context of the match. The employer controls its employment assessment and decision.

10. Outcome and learning

Where agreed, we track the process through offer, placement or closure and use the outcome to improve future market and fit intelligence.

Evidence state

Fact

Supported by identified evidence appropriate to the claim.

Evidence state

Inference

A reasoned conclusion drawn from evidence but not itself directly established.

Evidence state

Unknown

Not yet established. It stays visible until confirmed, disproved or no longer material.

No automated final hiring decision.

Technology can assist search, comparison and organisation. Human judgement controls selection for outreach, material verification, candidate permission and release of a match. The employer remains responsible for the final employment decision.

The point

Fewer assumptions before valuable people spend valuable time.

The process is designed to improve relevance and transparency, not to pretend uncertainty can be eliminated.
